So apparently, no matter how much I beg her, Sydney just isn't going to stop growing...too bad...
Yesterday I took her to kindergarten registration and I have to admit, it made me a little sad. It doesn't feel like that long since I did that with Brandon, and now he's going to middle school this fall. It did make me think how glad I am that she's not my last one, though. I'm so grateful we have Jake now and pretty excited that he'll stay little a little longer than she has!

Playlist
So I spent way too much time today figuring out how to add a play list to my blog, but I did it, and nobody even helped me a little bit! It's no secret that I'm SO not good with computers, so I was pretty proud. I've also figured out blogging a little more...nobody tells you that you should definitely add your photos before you start writing, cause it's easier...thankfully I've figured that out, too, though.
The weather has been gorgeous the past couple of days! We planted to beginnings of our first garden in 6 years a couple of weeks ago, and our little peas and radishes are up and growing...make me feel so domestic! Tim and Ryan have been playing catch to get ready for baseball season--it's so fun to just sit outside and watch them...Ryan has improved so much from last year! I'm excited for him to start in a few more weeks! I'll take some pics of them practicing and post them soon. He also has his first Pinewood Derby tomorrow, so I'll take some pics of that, too.
I found out last night that Sydney will most likely have all-day kindergarten next year. I have mixed emotions...it will be so nice to not have my day broken in half by school...it's hard to be home at 11 am EVERY day. But I don't think it will be the best learning environment and she'll only have school 2-3 days a week--what do I do with her the other 2-3 school days?? We'll see... She registers next week, and I'll ask some questions at the school when we go.

No more training wheels!!
Syndey has been bugging Tim and I for a while now to take her training wheels off. She's quite a bit younger than the boys were so I was a little hesitant, but Tim agreed on Saturday and took them off. She was SO EXCITED!!! Here she is getting started.
I love the pics of Tim helping her get started. I'm so glad I ran and got the camera. By Sunday evening, she had figured it all out and no longer needed help getting started. Some of those moments with the kids go so fast...why does she keep getting bigger?? Rude!
Here is one of her crashes...I love how Tim is basically laughing at her...such sympathy!!

I think I've got it--sort-of...
So I'm still working on this, but I think I sort-of figured out how to blog...I know, I'm probably too old for this...

So Liz and Jessica just left, headed back to Rexburg. Liz was here for a whole week, and it was so nice to have her help with the baby and everything. I will miss her. :( Jessica showed up last night around 6:30 with her man and then he left, she did my hair (Thanks again, Jess, it's nice to feel like myself again), went to bed, and then left this morning. We didn't get a whole lotta time to visit, but I'm sure she'll be back again someday...
Carolyn and Bryan were here for Easter weekend and that was fun. We did some shopping (I found Sydney a couple of really cute dresses for way cheap), ate lots of good food, played games, dyed eggs, went to my niece Cynthia's wedding reception, and had a great Easter morning. It was a fun visit. I'm sure we'll have many more if and when they move up here. :)
Tim got back last night while I was sleeping from turkey hunting. It was a day early, which is always nice, but sadly, he came home with no turkey...too bad, so sad. I'm pretty sure he'll try again someday soon... Brandon, however, got his turkey last Saturday and he and Tim were both super-excited! It was so cute when Brandon called that morning to tell me all the details...he's turning into a little Tim more and more...

Our crazy life!
So I'm just trying to set up a blog today...have no idea if this is even working, but I hope so. Bryan and Carolyn came to visit for Easter weekend and left yesterday, and Liz is still here for most of the week, so it's been fun to have family around!! If this works, I'll write a bunch more! P.S. I realize Tim's head is cut off in this pciture, but the rest of us look really good, so he's gonna have to take one for the team. :)
